Eileen Fisher's sizing is built around a relaxed, draped fit rather than a close, tailored one — pieces are designed to skim the body and layer easily, so the same size tends to run roomier than a fitted brand's equivalent number. The size range itself is simplified (XS–XL, with a separate numbered petite/plus range) rather than split across many named cuts.
