Shaku uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide body measurement, garment measurement, size recommendation, outfit planning, clothing search, and product discovery features.

AI-generated results may be based on:

• Photos you upload
• Body measurements
• Garment measurements
• Height or other information you provide
• Fit preferences
• Style preferences
• Search history
• Saved items
• Product interactions
• Retailer size charts
• Product data from retailers or partners

AI results are best-effort estimates and may not be perfect. You should review product information, size charts, retailer policies, and your own preferences before making purchase decisions.

We may use anonymized, aggregated, or privacy-protected data to improve our AI systems, measurement accuracy, recommendation quality, and App performance.

To operate affiliate features, Shaku may work with third-party affiliate networks, tracking providers, analytics tools, and retail partners. These partners may help us track clicks, referrals, purchases, commissions, campaign performance, and fraud prevention.

These partners may use tracking technologies such as cookies, tracking links, device identifiers, pixels, or similar technologies when you click affiliate links or visit third-party websites.

Depending on the partner and your location, these technologies may collect information such as:

• The product link you clicked
• The time and date of the click
• The retailer or offer you visited
• Your device type and browser
• Approximate location based on IP address
• Referral source
• Purchase attribution data, where available

We do not receive your full payment card details from retailers or affiliate networks.

We may receive limited purchase or commission information, such as whether a qualifying purchase occurred, the product category, order value, commission amount, or transaction status. This information is used for attribution, reporting, fraud prevention, and business analytics.

Shaku implements security measures to protect measurement images and sensitive data, including encrypted storage, access controls, and on-device face blurring where applicable. Images uploaded for measurement are retained for up to three (3) months and are then automatically deleted.

The App is intended for users 18 years or older.

Users under 18 may only use the App with parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without appropriate consent.

If you believe a minor has provided personal information without proper consent, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Shaku may process or store personal information in Canada, the United States, Europe, or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

We may monitor usage of the App, affiliate links, product clicks, API requests, measurement services, and account activity to detect:

Affiliate and advertising tracking scripts are only loaded for visitors in the United States and Canada, based on an automated estimate of your location. We take this approach instead of a consent banner while we are not meaningfully serving visitors elsewhere; if that changes, we will update this policy and how consent is obtained.
